One of the fantastic things about 3D computer generated images, is that it is up to the artist how the computer renders the scene. One of the options is to use line-art, where the 3D model is described in outline form. This not only looks great when done well, it also adds a level of clarity that is hard to beat. It also means that images generated in this way may be used for training and instructional media such as manuals. This particular video we produced for Invertek features this style of imagery mixed with photorealism, using both of them to their best advantage.
