Filtermist designs and manufactures a range of oil-mist extraction units that help to improve the working environments of countless industrial workers around the world. Their products operate in a very cleverly simple way but as with many mechanical devices is has always been frustratingly difficult to demonstrate the principals to potential buyers and customers. Using 3D animation the team at Think Allowed were able to help Filtermist take their audience on an engaging journey inside their products so that they were able to see exactly what goes on and how effectively the air is cleaned.
From a technical point of view, this is one of the most challenging videos we have made to date. The most difficult aspect we had to deal with was the rather extensive use of 'Fluid Simulation' that we was necessary to describe the various processes that are involved.
